FAQ

1. I don’t have insurance; do you have any special programs to help me?

As of now we don’t have any special programs to help you because our services are very inexpensive compared to other facilities.

6. If I have multiple physicians that need a copy of my report, can you send it to them?

Yes, let us know at the time of the exam, the names and office locations of each of the doctors and their fax numbers.

2. If I need to take a copy of my exam to a surgeon, will I be charged for a set of my films or a CD of my films?

Yes, there is a $10.00 charge for a copy of your exams on a CD.

7. Why do I need a full bladder for a pelvic ultrasound exam?

A full bladder pushes the gas filled bowel out of the way and lets us view your pelvic organs. If you don’t have a well distended bladder, often we don’t get an adequate exam.

3. What is your fax number?

407-203-6781

8. Do I need a referral for a 3D/4D Ultrasound?

No you don’t.

4. How do I get a copy of my report?

Please contact your physician for a copy of your report. If you have any questions about the report, they can help assist you further.

9. What makes Ultrasound Care Specialist different from other imaging ultrasound care centers?

At UCS, we take care of you. Our Registered Sonographers are very compassionate. We always try to give your physician as much information as we can so that you can return to your physician for treatment if needed.

5. When will my doctor receive the results of my exam?

We usually fax a completed report to your physician’s within 3 days of your exam. If you have a visit scheduled with your doctor immediately after our visit, please let us know so that we can expedite the report to your doctor’s office.

10. How do I know if an exam is covered by my insurance?

Call your insurance company and ask them. Every insurance plan is different. At the time you signed up for your insurance, you were given a statement of benefits which includes what is or isn’t covered.
